This hotel is absolutely magnificent! Besides the whooping price tag, words cannot describe this place without seeing it with your own eyes. The hotel is divided into 3 buildings, hundred of guests checking in and out daily. The organisation structure is implemented effectively which can be seen through the running of the business. We lined up to check-in from the main reception desk, the line moved swiftly. A senior receptionist pulled us from the queue and took us to the back room which looks like a members check-in room, she sat us down to check-in. The service she provided was spot on for a 5-star hotel, she was friendly, informative and welcoming.

It was not difficult getting to the room considering the number of buildings and rooms they had. The room was quite large. We could not find any major faults in the room. The only 2 minor issues was a cloth sitting beside the TV, they may have been forgotten by housekeeping. Again this was only minor, the other issue was the room we had did not have hot water for the bath tub. This may be a big deal if we wanted to use it, but for the time being it wasn’t a big issue for us because we had bigger sights to see. We did not report these issues as it did not affect our experience in the Hotel.

We would encourage everyone that stay at a 5-star hotel to use all the facilities provided since this is what you are paying for. And we most certainly did swim at the iconic infinity pool! It was a blast! With the nice warm air, the cool and refreshing water was a delight. The pool is exclusive for in-house guests only that stretches out along the side of the top level across the 3 buildings. Sitting behind the pool were bubbly jacuzzis that also have a beautiful coastal and suburban backdrop. It does get very crowded, so take note of the opening times and visit the pool at a less crowded time, usually the early mornings. Night time was quite chaotic during the time we went.

We had breakfast at the Rise Restaurant located in tower 1, it was incredible, the amount of options they had for a breakfast buffet were impressive. The view of the garden was also incredible, a perfect view for a perfect breakfast.

The checkout process was very easy to complete, either at reception or electronically. Storage for bags/luggage was welcomed and secure. If you are looking for a luxurious getaway then this is the place where you want to be. Fantastic service and quality! Our tip is to book well in advance for a lower rate, I remember arriving at the evening and seeing the sign for last-minute bookings reaching over $1,500 for a standard room! We would definitely go back here if time permits us. Althought this is just one of many places of where to stay in Singapore.
